I have very mild to moderate low back pain that comes and goes. Stretching helps a little but every so often I do need to take pain relievers or use a lidocaine patch to help with the pain. I went with this back massager as I didn't want something too cheap but I also didn't want to spend several hundred on something that I wouldn't use every single day.I use the massager on the high setting for my lower back but it can hurt if you're not used to it. The low setting could also be a bit intense depending on your tolerance.I've been using this massager a few times a week for almost a month and I'm pretty happy with it. I've used it sitting on my couch and in my desk chair and it really helps soothe my low back and any other back muscle aches. I'm under 5'0 and the massager ball things reach all the way down to my tailbone depending on how I sit and can reach up to my neck on the "full back" setting. The remote and manual are easy to understand and use. It does shut off after 15 minutes but I use the massager for up to 30-45 minutes at a time depending on how sore I feel.The heat setting isn't very hot, just really warm but it feels great on my back. I'm not sure if the vibration feature for the seat really does anything but it's there? I really like the spot massage feature and I use it most often as I can have the massager focus on one specific spot on my lower back.My dad suffers from severe back pain such as nerve pinching and just common aches from working all day. It’s so painful for him to move after he gets home in the late afternoon to walk to the kitchen to get food because of his severe back pain. I bought this for him and he is in love. He had a small shiatsu massager but it didn’t fully massage the entire back. This one is a game changer! I would recommend this even if you are skeptical, BUY IT!I’ve researched into these massagers on Amazon and tried another one. This one has the best balance of massage and probable durability. The rollers massage are not the most firm but should last the longest. The vibration is of little benefit. The heat is ok. It’s the multiple massage knobs and motion that is the key to this pad. Will likely buy a second one for wife.This product is so easy to use and love that I can move it from the family room to my office chair as needed.Massages all over my back pain and great options on the remote.I gave it a 4 overall due to the "heat" function being almost nonexistent compared to Homemedics brand. It just does not conduct enough heat for me to feel it.The rollers are much softer feeling during the massage as I think the nodules are more rounded than other brands. It covers a lot of area up and down left and right with the 3d feature.This is great for tall people. I am 6'4". It covers from the top of my shoulder blades, and it really goes WAY down low to your lower lumbar region. In fact, it goes so low it reaches the top of my butt cheeks/sciatica are which is great BTW as most massagers like this stop short of that important area that is right where the lower back meets the buttocks.It is a very thick item so you will need a deep chair. The backing seems very rigid and durable. This is good so you can get extra pressure against it if you need verses most brands are so flexible and breakable in that area.All in all, I really like this massager. The BIGGEST complaint I have is the "heat" function under performs.I’ve had back issues for years (muscular). This thing along with a couple of chiropractor visits has made a huge difference. I used it every other day for about two weeks and I don’t have my back pain anymore. It doesn’t really hit your shoulders very well though. So if you had pain there I’d think about buying something that would hit that area more specifically.It can be a bit uncomfortable/painful at first as this thing works out your knots, but that eases off over time as your muscle improves.Highly recommend as it’s about the cost of one pro massage at physio except you have it for as many as you need.Definitely use the heat function at the same time. Some people said they didn’t find it much use in the reviews I read before buying but you need to cycle the machine more than once for it to heat up a bit. So I would use it. Then switch it on again and then again before I felt it had been affective.I use this because I have a back back and hips and works in pain relief the high setting is a bit much tbh works better for myself on medium but each to their own it's very good at pain relief would be better if it had a heat and cold function on it just my point of viewWorks really well and for the money it costs there are no complaints from meLlevo ya medio mes usándolo y puedo decir que me está ayudando bastante.Después de haber tenido una cirugía de tobillo y llevar dos meses y medio sin poder moverme y siempre con la misma postura, tengo la espalda destrozada. Pero poco a poco y poniendo una toalla en el respaldo, la sensación fue mejorando bastante. Al tener dos modos de masaje y dos intensidades, puedes hacerte una rutina a tu medida.Tiene la opción de ponerlo solo para la zona alta o la zona baja de la espalda, lo que me parece muy útil. Y me encanta el modo Spot, para centrarte en una zona exacta que lo necesite más e ir deshaciendo nudos y relajando la musculatura. La función calor es un plus importante también.Lo único que a mí no me gusta es la vibración en la parte del asiento. No lo veo útil, pero seguramente a otras personas les vaya bien.En general, por ahora estoy muy contenta con la compra, porque me está ayudando en mi etapa de convalecencia. Espero que sea un masajeador duradero, pero solo el tiempo lo confirmará.
